High-speed knife shredder, designed for volumetric shredding of larger pieces of plastic, rubber and other materials such as wood chips, textiles, paper, electrical scrap, electrical cables, polystyrene, EPS, PET bottles, PE films, microtene films, etc.

The shredder can be used effectively especially in plants dealing with the shredding of technological and municipal waste for the purpose of its subsequent recovery. The shredder requires a transport fan and a cyclone, which transports the shredded material to the collection point. It is possible to set a minimum shear clearance of 0.1 mm, which makes the shredder suitable for shredding PET bottles, PE films and microtene films. The unfolding hopper mechanism holds the unfolded hopper in any position. The shredder can be custom made with a device for printing PET bottles and films, which ensures higher efficiency of shredding by pushing the material directly into the rotor space of the shredder. The shredder can also be made with a film feeder.
